Comedian Eric Omondi on Thursday evening landed a rare opportunity to be hosted by Oscar winning Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong’o at her New York home.

Omondi, who once brought a Lupita look-alike to one of his comedy shows, shared the moment on Instagram captioning it:
“With my home girl @lupitanyongo Thank you dear for hosting me and for your encouraging words, always. #AboutLastNight #ValidDreams #EricOmondiWorldTour.”
Lupita was once brought to her feet by the comedian during her 2015 homecoming as he emceed the event at the actresses rural home in Seme, Kisumu County.
Omondi has been in the US for his comedy world tour staging performances in different cities starting with Dallas and Washington this weekend.
The comedian had on Thursday posted a video on Instagram showing how he performed an acrobat act on Times Square and earned $65 from passersby.
He captioned his video, “I just made 65 Dollars in less than 2 minutes in Times Square as an acrobat😂 😂 😂 😂 That’s like 6,500 KSH…Hivi ndio watu hukwama America.”
Omondi’s world tour that kicked off with a performance at the Bomas of Kenya last Saturday will end on December 12 at Johannesburg, South Africa.
